This report explores how Singapore can better convert strong interest from affluent Indonesian leisure travelers and MICE professionals into actual bookings. Using Populix’s Digital Persona research, it finds that Indonesians are willing to pay a premium for Singapore’s event quality, safety, reliability, and professional relevance, but conversion often breaks down due to unclear total costs, limited local payment options, complicated approval processes, slow invoicing, and fragmented vendor coordination. To capture this demand, Singapore should connect social-media inspiration to transparent, mobile-friendly booking journeys; support Indonesian platforms, Virtual Accounts, and e-wallets; emphasize job relevance and measurable ROI for MICE audiences; and justify premium pricing through clear proof of value and seamless execution.
